How can members of the group "Inhaltsautoren" update, delete, insert articles ?

Hi gegge,

if you navigate to "Security" -> "Inhaltsautoren" you will see in the main content area the tabs "Members","Permissions","IP Adresses","Import","Roles".

After selecting "Permissions" you can grant the desired privileges to the specific areas.

but I have given this group the rights to access articles ("Zugriff auf Artikel im CMS") and it does not work for the group-members.

so far only admins can create and edit objects in the backend. We are discussing some code changes to configure these rights for other groups. Are you familiar with SilverStripe's source code? I could show you how to tweak it.

my first idea for a workaround would create a security breach. Only admins can create and edit objects in silvercart. We will change this in the version after 1.2 which might be 1.3 or 2.0.
