Problems with IE7 and registration page

Hello

i have a installation of silvercart 1.2.1, hosted by 1+1.
By using newer Browsers there no problems. By using IE 7 ( or IE 9 in compatible mode) i get an error on the registration page. the email field shows an error ( a dotted border around the first field) and on a click on the botton submit (abschicken) does'nt any thing happend.

Any Ideas?
