I took an hour to try and install Silvercart this afternoon. Here's what I found so far:

• Installation went smooth.
  
• The system looks quite comprehensive. I can see a pretty complex shop running on this (like you have already showed).
  
• A big problem is the documentation, though. For instance, I have no idea where I should set PayPal information for the shop.

Silvercart seems to have a lot of potential, but at the moment it's a bit hard to really see the full scope of it.

Before Silvercart was ready, I created my own shop module (in use at http://ilgiustogusto.be/onze-producten/olijven-en-olijfolie/).

I'm certainly going to try out Silvercart further and follow up on what you guys are doing, to see if I can use it instead of (or in adition to) my module.

thanks for Your feedback. We really have to improve SilverCart's documentation, thanks for reminding me. The last weeks I was loaded with work and there was no time for more screencasts and new wiki pages. This has now top priority on my agenda and I will start with it this weekend.

My module is a lot less featured as Silvercart. And I will have to clean it up before I release it open source.
