My cart's total is 0.00, even with a product inside

I'm progressing on my first ecommerce silvercart website and I need a little help. (It's a fr_FR installation)
When I add the product I created to the cart, I can see the number changing in the header ("Cart (1)"). But when I click to see the detail of my Cart, the total price is 0.00.
Any idea ?

does the price of the product in cart show up and is it other than 0.00€ ?
Are you logged in as an admin?

I didn't see gross prices were activated, and filled in only the net price of my product.
Silvercart is a really great module that needs time and attention to be mastered... I'm still working on that ! :)
One bump into another, I'm stuck with an error with the paypal module now :D
