Visual redesign

Posted by: Roland Lehmann

Yesterday Ramon published the redesign of silvercart.org. The prior design was done in a hurry, because there was so much development work to do and we badly wanted to go public. With his work Ramon unified the look of silvercart.org and silvercart.de. While silvercart.org is ment for developers silvercart.de is supposed to explain our software to german customers and show it's value. We are aware that the national markets for ecommerce software are very different which has it's reasons in tradition and national legislation. That's why we run a website especially for the german market.

The screencast shows how to add the first product to the default shop and how to configure a checkout with prepayment as payment method.

SilverCart + SS3

Posted by: Ramon Kupper

Will SilverCart be compatible with SilverStripe 3 preview ?

To be or not to be [compatible], that is the question. Of course there is only one way to find the answer. Sebastian installed SilverStripe 3 preview and it feels so good. Kudos to SilverStripe. It looked already great on the screenshots, but after getting my hands on it I can say that it feels even better than it looks.
